Christmas Pictures

Well its Thursday night and Sheila and I are here at my house passing the time while our kids are at the Winter Formal together. I am uploading all the pics from the Customer party and Sheila is sewing away on another baby quilt. I may be spoiling her though, because she is sewing on my 830. I will have to check and make sure she doesn't take it with her. HAHA! Things are busy at the store trying to get the next set of classes on the website. The calendar is packed with clubs and classes galore. Be sure to check them out and come have some fun with us in 2010, the Year of Finishing.

The store will be open next Mon thru Wed with our end of year buy 2 get one free sale. We will close 24th thru the 27th. We will open again on the 28th thru the 30th for another week of sales. Tell Santa to come get you a gift certificate so you can come shop the sale after Christmas.

Merry Christmas

Website is ready!

Wow! Here we go on a wild ride! Our new website will be live today and we are so excited. We would enjoy any imput on what you like and any changes you would like to see us do for the website.

So here is the update on what has been going on in the store lately! Sheila and Rhonda went to quilt market, had a ball and bought lots of new fabric. It is arriving daily and it feels like Christmas everytime we open up a new box of fabric. Be sure to come by the store and see the new fabric. We are starting on the next calendar for January to April of 2010 (can you believe it is here already). If there is any classes that you would like to see on the schedule, please let us know. We have some new and exciting clubs starting up in January so keep checking in and we will be letting you know soon about them, (hint: embroidery has to do with one of them).

The pansy quilt class meet last week and had so much fun that many came the next day for Pot Luck Club. Boy did we eat good those two days. Sheila has her Turkey Time Mystery tomorrow and Bling, Strings and More Things Mystery Saturday. If you haven't ever taken one of Sheila's mystery classes, you are missing out on a real fun time.

Happy Sewing

Well here we are quilt n stitch coming into the new generation with a blog. I can't get over how easy it was to create. I am so excited with the possibilities that this blog will give us at the store to share with everyone the day to day happenings at a quilt store. The excitement when new fabric arrives. The delight of seeing other peoples creativity in quilts and embroidery. The fun we have with our clubs and classes. Check back with us daily as I chronicle a day in the life of a quilt store. Thanks,

Christy
